Position: Head of Business Intelligence, reporting to Global Head of Engineering

We are looking for an individual with a deep interest and passion for e-commerce businesses in the B2B & B2BC space. You should have the ability to analyze sophisticated business challenges using data from multiple sources and providing measurable insights to inform key decisions. You identify and interpret patterns in business operations and datasets to drive insights into actions.

You should be self-driven and motivated with the desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, and agile environment.

Locations: Bangalore, India or Nairobi, Kenya

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own company-wide analytics function
  • Analyze sophisticated business problems using data from multiple sources to provide key decision-makers with actionable insights.
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in business operations datasets to pinpoint opportunities for growth, scale, and efficiency gains
  • Prepare forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market understanding.
  • Recruit, develop, and motivate the BI team to ensure it achieves its goals & potential
  • Build analytics capabilities to grow the organizations knowledge
  • Responsible for the validation and implementation of data analytics projects
  • Provide domain expertise to the different business units
  • Monitor KPIs to assess team’s performance
  • Work closely with all requisite partners to ensure alignment on business requirements gained from leading reporting projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design reports and visualizations
  • Analytical and data-driven with the ability to establish goals and seek results exceeding expectations.


  • Strong B2B, B2C/B2BC domain knowledge.
  • Strong experience in e-commerce operations.
